- Q: How can I submit an entry to TIFVA?

- Q: What genres are accepted in the "Feature" and "Short" categories?
- A:
We accept all genres and judge based solely on artistic merit.
- Q: Do you accept international entries?
- A:
We love them! But please make sure all films NOT in English have English subtitles.
- Q: Will the winning films and videos be screened?
- A:
The winning and nominated films from the 2011 season will be screened at the Victoria University at the University of Toronto, from March 2nd to 4th. Please check out the Home page for details.
- Q: Can I submit more than one project?

Of course you can!
- Q: Can I submit in more than one category?
- A:
Yes. Please e-mail us at info@tifva.com and we will guide you through it.
- Q: Is there a discount for submitting more than one project?

- Q: Can I send a work in progress?
- A:
Yes you can. And you can re-submit when the film is completed. if we don’t receive the submission in time however, we will have to judge based on what has already been received.
- Q: What media formats does TIFVA accept?

We accept screeners in DVD format, or online screeners.

- Q: How can I find out status of my submission?
- A:
Please allow 4 weeks after mailing or submitting your entry before requesting status. We will provide you with an email update as soon as possible. Submitters will be notified on or before September 15th, 2012 as to whether their work has been selected for a 2012 award.
- Q: How can I get involved with TIFVA?
